# Task 2: Configure Your Worker App

The Configure Your Worker App endpoint performs the following actions:

* Assigns the custom admin role you created in Task 1 with the associated permissions to the Worker app.

This Roles workflow requires a Worker app to which you'll assign the role and associated permissions. The Postman collection that accompanies this flow references the Worker app that you created in *Getting Started*, Task 2.

## What you'll do

You will update the Worker app that you created in *Getting Started*, Task 1 for this flow using:

* POST request to assign the custom admin role you created in Task 1 to this Worker app.

If you haven't completed [Task 1: Create an admin Worker app connection](../../../../../getting-started/create-an-admin-worker-app/index.html) in *Getting Started*, do that first.

| | If you choose to use an alternate Worker app, be aware that the variables in the Postman collection point to the Task 1 Worker app's ID property value. You must change this value manually either in your Postman environment or in the endpoint's request body to authenticate the alternate Worker app. |
