Task 1: Configure Your Environment

The environment configuration endpoints perform the following actions:

  • Update (or create) an application.

  • Specify the application’s resource grant.

  • Specify a sign-on policy and define its actions.

  • Define external identity providers.

What you’ll do

You will create a new application and a new sign-on policy that includes a user profiling action.

  • POST request to create the new application.

  • GET request to get a list of resources and specify the PingOne resource and a user scope.

  • POST requests to create a sign-on policy with a user profiling action.
