# Task 3: Test The Workflow

The Test the Workflow endpoints perform the following actions:

* Send an authorization request.

* Perform any sign-on actions.

* Return an access token.

The authorization and token endpoints that you'll call to test the workflow require an application ID (and in some cases the application's secret) to complete the sign-on action. The Postman collections that accompany these flows reference the Web application that you created in *Getting Started*, Task 3.

| | For the `NONE` workflow, the application's `type` property is set to `NATIVE_APP`. In this case, you will use the new application that you created in the Task 1: Configure Your Environment collection for the \`NONE token authentication method. |

## What you'll do

If you have not completed the Postman workflow for Task 3, return to [Task 3: Create an SSO workflow](../../../../getting-started/simple-sso-workflow.html) to complete the workflow.

| - | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| | If you choose to use an alternate application, be aware that the variables in the Postman collections point to the Task 3 application's ID (and secret). You must change these values manually either in your Postman environment or in the endpoint's URL or parameters to run the request using your alternate application. |
