# Task 1: Configure Your Environment

The environment configuration endpoints perform the following actions:

* Update (or create) an application.

* Specify the application's resource grant.

* Specify a sign-on policy and define its actions.

## What you'll do

For the Login with Passwordless Authentication flow, you will create a new Web application, create a passwordless sign-on policy, and assign the policy to the application.

* POST request to create the new application configuration.

* POST requests to create a passwordless MFA sign-on policy and actions.

* POST request to assign the sign-on policy to the application.
