# PingOne Authorize

These workflows show you how to use the PingOne Authorize APIs to enable fine-grained, attribute-based, dynamic authorization decisioning capabilities. PingOne Authorize use cases call the following API resources:

| Platform API | Description |

| [Resources](../../platform/resources/index.html) | Resources are the protected endpoints that applications request access to using OAuth 2 authorization services. |
| [Application Permissions](../../authorize/application-permissions/index.html) | The application permissions service provides endpoints to define custom roles and permissions within PingOne Authorize to protect external application resources. |
