# Create Phone Delivery Settings (Syniverse channels)

This example uses the `phoneDeliverySettings` endpoint to create a sender for sending notifications via Syniverse channels.

Note that the `provider` parameter must by set to CUSTOM\_SYNIVERSE\_CHANNELS.

Once the sender is created, send a [PUT request to select the channel](update-phone-delivery-settings-syniverse-channels.html) that should be used for sending the notifications.
