# Step 2: Add a Worker app

In the admin console, add a Worker app connection to PingOne:

1. Select **Applications** -→ **Applications**.

2. Click the **+** icon next to **Applications** to add a new app.

3. In the **Application Name** field, enter an application name, and select **Worker** as the Application Type.

4. Click **Save**. The Roles tab is then displayed on the application information page.
