# Document Authentication Using NFC Chip Verification

This feature adds NFC chip verification to native mobile PingOne Verify journeys to provide customers, especially those in highly-regulated industries, customer identity access management and workforce identity proofing with the higher-assurance document authentication anchored on embedded, cryptographically-signed chip data read by NFC.
