To capture contextual data and perform risk evaluations, you must add the PingOne Protect module to your DaVinci Client project.

The PingOne Protect module requires the `@ping-identity/rn-core` and `@ping-identity/rn-davinci` packages. Install all three packages in your React Native project:

* yarn

* npm

```shell
yarn add @ping-identity/rn-core @ping-identity/rn-davinci @ping-identity/rn-protect
```

```shell
npm install @ping-identity/rn-core @ping-identity/rn-davinci @ping-identity/rn-protect
```

Optionally, add the `@ping-identity/rn-logger` package to provide a logger instance to the PingOne Protect module.

## Installing native dependencies

After installing the packages, install the native dependencies.

On iOS, use CocoaPods from the `ios` directory:

Installing native dependencies with CocoaPods

```shell
cd ios && pod install
```

On Android, Gradle resolves the native dependencies automatically.

After installing the modules and dependencies, you can proceed to [Step 2. Integrating PingOne Protect DaVinci flows in React Native](02-protect-react-native-app-davinci.html).
